Ruidoso has become one of our favorite vacations spots and I see many more vacations spent there. We stumbled upon Innsbrook Village rentals a couple of years ago and it is just perfect for our family. There is a pond with endless (tiny) fish to catch, a 9-hole par 3 golf course with all the access that you want and a swimming pool. We usually go with my (Kursten's) side of our family as we all enjoy golfing. We have spent many hours (all split up) on this golf course and just love it! KiKi and Lolo (Keegan & Lauren) were not able to go this year and we missed them terribly, but I am sure they will be there with us next year.

| There were so many families of ducks at different ages. I'm sure one of them was a family of tiny babies we saw last year. |
We found out pretty quick after we had checked in that some dear friends from home had the same view of hole number 9 that we did and were just a couple of buildings over! It was fun to see them around the place and our kids got to play with their kids.
Kendon is so very good about being prepared and doing his research before we just head into somewhere. This time he had found a playground that wasn't far away. We found the playground one afternoon and couldn't believe we hadn't found it before! It was a very big playground with lots of things for the kids to do and a very good spot for hide and seek!
We stayed an extra night longer than my parents and there was a movie(The Wizard of Oz) going to be played out at Inn of the Mountain Gods on a big screen outside. We knew it was going to be late and didn't in any way expect to be out there for the entirety of the movie but decided we would go out for a little while. We got out there a little earlier than we had planned so had some time to kill before the movie started. Of course, we didn't stay for the whole time, but we did have a good time looking at the mountains and around the hotel.
Killing time before the movie with a sock puppet.....
We kinda like family selfies!
We headed home the next morning and made a stop in Lubbock to see KiKi and Lolo! We met them at 50th Street Caboose and the kids ate up their time playing games with them!
