Our Baby.....

 
Kendon came home at lunch yesterday (Feb 3rd) and said, "You know what is really crazy to me... our child probably has already been born or will be very soon."  We talked for a few minutes about it with Ian and encouraged Ian that we needed to be praying for him/her even more but that was the end of the conversation.  After work Kendon said he had been really bothered about that fact today- in a helpless way.  He said he wanted us to remember this day because he felt something different today..... so there you have my next blog post!  We continued to talk about how amazing it would be if today was actually the day that our child was born or even within the week- How awesome is our God!  We have really been impressed today to  pray for our already or very soon to be born child- that he would be protected and immediately have arms to hug him and love him and a voice to sing to him.  Will you join us this week in praying for this?

As for the process.... we are steadily moving along.  We are finishing up the second part of our application (the massive amount of paperwork!) which also include an autobiography of each of us.  Kendon actually beat me on this part and has his rough draft done!  That is my goal for this weekend.  Once this part of our application is approved then we will start the home study part.  We have already been assigned our social worker and it is taking all I have to not find her number and meet her already!
