Ian and Kinzlee also went to a week of swimming lessons last month. Three years ago, Ian went to lessons with a lady that came and taught in Hamlin for a couple of weeks. She does 30 minutes a day for five days with each child. Last year there wasn't a spot for Kinzlee so we took them both to the ymca in Abilene. We were a little bit disappointed with the y so we were glad to be able to have them both back with Mrs Trina this year and they both did amazing! This was probably Ian's last year for lessons, he has advanced leaps and bounds and is quite the little fish. Kinzlee improved a lot as well but she still has a ways to go before she is completely comfortable in the water.

Gymnastics!
About 8 weeks ago, we got to go to a birthday party at Abilene sports and gymnastics center (thank you Cowans!). That trip started our gymnastics adventure! We signed Kinzlee up for the summer session and after the first week of her going signed Ian up after he decided he might like it too. This week is the last week of 6 and there are mixed feelings between them. Kinzlee has absolutely loved it and completely embraced it while Ian, on the other hand, says he doesn't want to do it again and would rather try something else. We had originally planned on him doing Tae Kwan Do this summer until he decided to try gymnastics...... Tae Kwan Do it will be next!
