Movement!

I am SO very excited that I can finally make a post about some positive movement!  On Friday, there were somewhere around 23 families that had court appearances.  So they have all started (or will start Monday) the 14 day waiting period before the court decision is final.  SO... they should be able to bring their kids home in 3 weeks!  There were also several more families submitted for EP (emigration permission), which is the step prior to court.  We were overcome with joy at all the positive news we saw yesterday!

Our hearts are burdened for something that has nothing to do with adoption..... I know you have prayed many prayers for our sweet Parker and for our family as we are on our journey.... I would like to solicit your prayers for another matter as well.  One of Kendon's cousins, Don, was in a car wreck on Monday.  He has been in very critical condition since then.  They did surgery on him yesterday morning to stabilize his back and spinal cord.  He has a spinal cord injury but his spinal cord is not severed.  The surgery went well yesterday but the doctor only gave him a 2% chance of ever walking again.  My God is bigger than that 2%!  We are believing in a miracle for Don.  On Monday, they will attempt to take his breathing tube out and take the sedation they have been giving him off.  Please pray this weekend that Don will be strong enough and ready enough for this to happen on Monday and that we see some MOVEMENT in his legs!.  He has a wife and two small children (and a TON of other family!) that need to see him communicate with them.  Please pray for his spirits as he starts his very long road to recovery.  Thank you in advance for joining us in believing for this miracle!  We love you Don!

Here is Don, Jebby, and their two kids.
