Carlsbad Cavern

A quick weekend trip to see Kiki and Lolo and a day trip to Carlsbad Cavern.  We hadn't ever been to a cavern or anything like it and Ian is particularly interested in the science of things so we thought it would be a perfect place for him to learn and explore.  He enjoyed the cavern itself but the walking was a little much and for sure was too much for Z!  It was decided that we would take the hike down into the entrance of the cave instead of take the elevator down- it's a long ways down there!  Thankfully, Lolo was more than willing to wear Parker for the hike and never even hesitated to say 'no, I'm fine' when offered to switch for a while.  A fun time was had by all!  Pictures are very hard to take down in the cave so just bear with them ;-)
