Ranger Game!

I promised an update on our fundraiser this last weekend and haven't had time to do it... but here it is!  We had such a great time with a bus FULL of 50 friends and family.  This fundraiser was such a perfect fit for our family being as we LOVE Ranger games.  This fundraiser started as somewhat of a fleeting thought driving down the interstate when we passed VIP Getaways.... Kendon said, 'Do you think we could ever make a fundraiser out of a trip like that?'.  It went from 'I don't know if we could sell the tickets', to 'That would be a really fun trip!', to making a call and the people at VIP being so helpful and willing to do what they could do for our fundraiser to be a success.  Our trip consisted of very seasoned Ranger fans who frequent the ballpark often to Ranger fans who had never been to a Ranger game!  The bus picked us up in Hamlin, we stopped in Abilene to pick up a couple of people, then were on our way.  We got to the ballpark and it was raining which ended up putting the game a hour late.... but we didn't have to drive back home so it was ok! (as long as we got the preacher back by 9:30 the next morning!)  After the game, it seemed we made it home in record time- it was a very nice ride!  I want to say thank you to the precious people that supported us in this way, made memories with us on this trip, and played a part in bringing Parker home.  Thank you and we love each of you!
